Followed some troubleshooting steps found online. Replaced water valve, then replaced the ice maker assembly. I am guessing the water valve was good since replacing it did not solve the issue but I did not have a way to test it and research suggested it’s the most common cause for the issue I was having. Both parts were easy to replace. Great design for repair. I found both parts on this store. Took over a week to get the problem solved but that was because I bought each part individually through the troubleshooting process and I didn’t pay the premium shipping. Took the opportunity to replace the water filter and some shelving while I was repairing the ice maker. All these parts from this store were spot on. Very happy with the advice, the repair videos and the part availability.
