After investigating the problem on the internet it appeared that the ice maker would probably need to be replaced. I went on line to find a source for the new part and found a good price at APP.com. I ordered the new icemaker and it arrived in 3 days. The install took me about 15 minutes and soon the refrigerator was making ice like it did when it was new.
