I already had removed the defective part. The OEM replacement slides right into place with a little tilting to slide the water filler tube into place. This was the second time the icemaker has gone out on my Kenmore Coldspot. Immediately after I replaced the first icemaker, the water started filling. That didn't happen this time. Instructions said to wait 24 hours for first batch of ice, still no ice. I slid the on/off switch back an forth several times and the 'magic eye' light came on and the icemaker started filling with ice. Disassembly of the old part revealed a burnt contact, the same problem as the first icemaker.
It was very easy to find the part I needed on the AppliancePartsPro.com website, price was great and shipping fast!
