After changing the freezer temp settings multiple times and getting the same results, I ordered & replaced the original ice maker unit with a new unit. I also changed the setting for the ice cube size to smaller on the new unit and it is working great!! The slightly smaller cubes feed through the dispenser much easier and with less flakes.
