I started by replacing the water filter, but that did not work. I ordered the ice maker kit for my model. I removed the old ice maker and removed the ice tray in preparation to install the new tray, which is all that I thought would be required. However, once I fastened in the new tray, I found that the old wiring harness did not work with the new tray. The kit comes with two new wiring harnesses. One that fits a unit with an On/Off switch, and one for a unit without the switch. Mine has the switch, so I selected that harness and replaced it along with the ice tray. Once finished, I inserted the entire unit back into the refridgerator, and turned it back on. The unit immediately filled with water and by the next day was producing ice again.
