I looked up the part, and just Googled it. I ended up here.
Then I found youtube videos describing EXACTLY how to fix it, since I have never attempted to fix a refrigerator in my life.
It's amazing the quality and detail provided by field appliance service providers. They are putting themselves out of work! (Probably not?? ).
My wife thinks I might be crazy. My dog was always impressed by how deftly I opened his bag of chow.
My fridge is now merrily churning out ice, but my wife ordered a $10k Thermador anyway.
I'm not sure if I'm any further ahead.
At least my friends new beer fridge makes ice.
