Our ice maker worked but it wouldn't stop making ice and the ice would overflow since the "arm" broke. I had to replace the whole ice maker since they don't sell the arm on its own (from what I could see). it was very easy to put in, took me about 8 minutes. All I needed was a screwdriver. can't believe I almost hired someone to do this for me since I know nothing about any of this. I was able to find videos on youtube which helped. the boyfriend was proud when I surprised him with a working ice maker. we have a GE profile fridge, side by side fridge. thanks!!
