Ice maker had stopped a year ago, I replaced water valve and it lived again. About 2 months ago, it developed a problem of not stopping making ice, even if level arm raised to off position. I ordered the replacement ice maker. Although it looked a bit different, with the adapter wiring, it all fit in place. It took longer to figure out how to route the wire harness for unit to avoid obstructing the ice cube box than actual replacement of the ice maker. The harness actually needs to go UP and counter clockwise loop then to plug to allow clearance. It now works perfectly. Our old refrigerator has all new drawer slides, new water valve, and new ice maker for less than a monthly payment on a new refrigerator. Our stove has new oven burners and a new top burner heat control rheostat , so it is again working well.
