I initially replaced my in line water filter which improved ice production but didn’t correct the problem of the ice maker only intermittently making ice. I watched YouTube videos on how to replace the ice maker. I figured it would be cheaper to just replace it myself rather than calling a technician to come look at it. So I ordered the part, it came in a timely manner, and I easily replaced it. A full bin of ice now awaits me.
