We purchased the completely new ice maker and while nervous, we were encouraged by all the positive reviews on others' experiences of replacing it. We watched the video several times and set up my laptop close by so that we could review it while in the process. Most everything went as the video expressed except that the tube bringing in the water was longer than expected. When trying to slide back in the new maker, the water tube hindered that and we had to gently, but firmly bend it to allow the unit to slide in. It did after some serious, but gentle pushing on it. Other than that, the replacement was a breeze. We were so apprehensive but this was so easy. You have certainly bolstered our confidence!! The whole process took less than 20 minutes tops! As soon as the power came back on, the ice maker began making ice!! Thank you for making it so easy and economical. The video was amazingly helpful!
