First problem was a leaking water valve, so I ordered the part and replaced it. Unfortunately, the old icemaker was calling for continuous water flow, which made a bit of a water mess. so I had to order the icemaker unit as well. It was an easy swapout, and now the water valve was staying closed, but I was concerned when there was no ice after several hours. I unplugged the refrigerator and plugged in after a minute or so, theorizing that the refrigerator brain may have to be reset, and that did the trick. Ice now being made!
