Worked like a charm, wish I'd done this years ago. My wife said it wasn't getting as hot as it should and was screwing up her baking, but it always lit and seemed to work.
This ignitor feeds back current to open the gas valve as the safety in case it fails no gas will flow. Apparently, they can weaken and the gas valve won't open all the way, causing heating consistency/accuracy issues. I confirmed w/thermometer it's accurate now.
