My husband accidentally cross treaded the plastic water valve on our new dishwasher, easy enough to do since its plastic. So, GE was coming to fix it in a 7 days. Fine, except I had a huge party in two days and the dishwasher would be a tremendous help! I ordered a new valve on a Friday, with the excellent assistance from the live chat, and chose standard delivery. They said the average delivery time was 1.7 days. It was at my house the next day, on Saturday. Hubby replaced the valve and installed the washer the morning of the party.
