This is apparently a common issue with this model. I purchased the main board since that is the most common fix. Everything seemed to work but I was unable to type in the code for my model refrigerator. The display and control board were also bad, Have a feeling a power loss and surge may have caused this issue. Ordered both arts and replaced with minimal effort and I now have a working fridge.
Appliance Parts Pros was awesome to deal with. Their regular shipping got her in 2 days and a day and a half. RIght parts with zero installation issues.
Since it's a little hard to see, to replace the front display and board and control panel you must first remove drip dray at bottom of dispenser. There are 2 1/4" screws there. Remove those and pull out on plastic frame. Comes right off. To remove push button panel you need a thin knife as it is adhered to plastic. Start at a corner and pull. New one is complete and has it's own adhesive.
