Initially I replaced the drum belt since this was listed as the most common source of noise. A little tricky to get the belt back on but videos were useful. Unfortunately the noise continued.
While replacing the belt I noticed worn parts around the drum. I ordered the new parts and received with a couple of days. The following week I replaced the front bearing, bearing slides and felt strap. Seems to work like new.
Also too the opportunity to vacuum our the dryer and clean the duct line.
