Using the video on the Appliance Parts Pros website, I found that the plastic stem of the food chopper that couples with the motor had broken and the screen of the food chopper was clogged with residue.
Following the repair video, I was able to replace the food chopper in less than 30 minutes. Unlike the video, I did not have to separate the bottom spray arm from its base. The entire assembly can be removed in one piece as follows:
a. Free the tube at the top of the dishwasher from the retaining clip.
b. Free the tube at the back of the dishwasher from its retaining clip.
c. Remove the ProScrub piece by hand (located at the base of the vertical tube in the back of the dishwasher.
d. Lift up slightly on the tube from the bottom spray assembly and rotate to the right about 45 degrees.
e. The entire water tube assembly can be pulled out as one piece.
Important to use a wrench as shown in the video the compress the food chopper spring when reinstalling.
