After 25 years of service the Kitchenaid stopped working. Found a video online that said when you have these symptoms it's almost always the worm gear - I figured for the cost of a $5 part what do I have to loose! The video had step by step instructions. Fairly simple repair - works great now. Looking forward to another 25 years.
