LG front load 10 year old washer wouldn't go into spin mode at start of cycle. Got a motor overload fault. Replaced the hall sensor, turned the water and powered the washer. Same fault came up. Was so frustrated and wondered why. The motor looked great with no signs of any wear. Seals were great. So I just opened the front door and spun the drum to see if anything was binding. Spun great with ease. I closed the door and started a cycle just out of curiosity. Low and behold...it started and we have run 7 cycles with no problems! Still amazed. Did spinning the drum "teach" the control and hall sensor where the drum motor is? Don't know, but it sure runs great now. Saved $600 on a new washer!
