After reading other's messages who were having the same issue as I was, I decided paying under $30 for a part was a no lose option. I bought the rotor position sensor switch and replaced it. My 10+ year old LG washer runs like brand new again. It sure beat calling a repair service or buying a new machine for a lot more money! I was thrilled.
