****** always make sure the unit is fully unplugged from the power before you do anything with the outside of the unit to work inside of the unit and while you are working inside the unit... Also make sure that you turn the hot and cold water intake valves off and make sure you don't pull too much on the two water intake hoses that lead to your washer because they can leak with too much pressure exerted on either end*******
1. Took top off unit by unscrewing mounting brackets at two similar points on the back and top.
2. Slid top barely 6inches back and lifted top off.
3.The bellows coming from the top mixing compartment leading down to the drum had a quarter in diameter tear around the top elbow going underneath the first bend down.
4. Took a Phillips head screwdriver and loosened the brackets on both ends of the black rubber bellows in order to detach it from both plastic tube entrance and exit points.
5. Slid brackets towards middle of bellows and once bellows detached, took brackets off and put them both on new bellows the same way they were on the original and worked the new rubber bellows onto both plastic tube entrance and exit (make sure it's on fully and tight... Will take some time to work them in fully but not too much where it could possibly tear the tubing.
6. Move the loosened brackets back on the joints in the grooves (will be a little difficult due to tightness of brackets while loosened) then retighten the screws and gently feel for a good fit around both brackets and pull to make sure they will not move or budge.
7. Replace top making sure to leave the 6inch gap from front panel of unit to the front of the top, slide it in where it will lock with the four pegs on the top of the sides and screw the two screws back into both mirrored spots on the bracket and you are done.
