Turned electrical power off at box, turned off water supply to dishwasher, pulled dishwasher from cabinet until I was able to tilt it on its side without having to disconnect the electric or water lines underneath.
Disconnected the 2 clamps on either side of the pump adapter, removed old adapter, put the 2 clamps back on the new adapter on their corresponding ends etc and re-connected the new adapter (* make sure you align the nub on new adapter white part with the slot on pump - push it in so that it is snug with the slot.
Tighten both clamps, put dishwasher back in cabinet etc, turn on water line, electric etc.
Works great- no leaks.
