My lg washer was leaking, but I couldn't see where. Google said it was most probably the tub drain hose, so I ordered one and replaced it. Still leaks, so obviously wasn't that. I didn't do any kind of inspection, just went with Google... After all, why would the Internet misdirect me? I taped paper towels to the top and bottom, both side, front and back, everywhere water could come out and turned it on a speed wash cycle. As soon as the the water started filling, the paper towel at the top left became wet, so I removed the top, noticed a rusty hose clamp on the detergent box, then pulled out the drawer. The drawer had a broken runner, and since the hose clamp was rusty, i ordered both and replaced them. Paper towels again, short cycle, no leaks until the drain started. Then a leak. Pulled off the from door, the pump housing was wet, but no obvious cracks. This time, I taped paper towels on every hose in the inside, put it back together, and ran the short cycle. The only thing wet this time was the drain hose, so I pulled it out and found a hairline crack. I ordered a new hose, put it in, and no leaks. I ordered on Saturday, got a ship notice on Monday and part on Wednesday. Very nice.
