Tim V Reston , VA May 17, 2019 Appliance: Model 6501KW2002A LG washer with error code of LE The washer and dryer where in storage for 8 years and just installed again in 2019. The units were made in 2004. Turn on the washer and 5 mins in get an LE code. I called LG support. Then gave me a local authorized service company. The support service person said units are to old to service buy new ones. It would cost too much to fix. So I figured the issue was a sensor that went bad. Some research on internet pointed to Rotor Position Sensor Switch going bad. I overnighted the part and had machine running next day. Fixed this for less than 60 bucks.
