Ordered a part from one of your pleasant phone representatives, unbolted the old lid switch assembly, pulled the wires, bolted on the new assembly, hooked up the wires in accordance to the electrical schematic that came with the washer, replaced the control panel to its normal position, replaced holding screws, and I was done in under five minutes. No replacing the entire washing machine like the wife suggested. It cost me $36 and It is working great. Thanks. You saved me $800-$1200 dollars.
