Repair easy, 1. turn breaker off to vent hood, 2. remove inside metal plate held with two screws, 3.remove outside label by using a small blade knife under bottom right corner, than remove screws holding switch and push switch toward inside of went hood, 4.unplug wires one at the time plugging them in to new switch making sure to put them on the correct location, 5. install switch using 3 screws do not over tighten it is plastic.6. replace label, 7. install inside metal plate, 8. turn breaker on and test light and fan switch. This is a very easy repair but if your not confident in what your doing Please get someone who is. There are no home repair jobs worth getting hurt over. Good Luck
