I removed the screws that I thought held up the bracket that the light switch was in. After doing this, I could not drop the bracket. I googled "How to replace a light switch on my model of refrigerator" and got "nothing available". Then I googled " How to replace the thermostat on my refrigerator" and got the information on how to remove that bracket holding the thermostat, which also holds the light switch.
