Replaced the lower rack assembly. That took all of six minutes but half of that was opening the sturdy shipping box that it came in. The new replacement rack is a little thinner but HEY... it works great, no rust in the end of wash cycle, and I have stopped thinking about buying a new dishwasher. Mama is happy, I'm happy, and I think the dishwasher is happy to be staying.
