Marc F Lubbock , TX November 23, 2015 Appliance: Model UMC5200BAB/W/S Maytag microwave light bulb burned out I found, and purchased the part quickly at Appliance Parts Pros. I recieved the part in just a few days. This procedure would have been a lot easier if my microwave wasnt built in the wall. I had to remove the face plate to pull it out of the wall and remove the outter shell of the microwave. All the screws were #2 Phillips, except 2. They were tamperproof Toex head screws. These required a torx bit with a hole in the middle of the bit. I guess Maytag thinks this requires a Maytag Repair Man. Well, I just happened to have a set of these bits in my tool box. Got the cover off and replaced the bulb. I already had my new bulb, so I knew what to look for, otherwise I wouldn't have recognized the base of that bulb. All and all it was very simple. If I had to do it again I think I could do it in under 15 minutes. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
