I watched the video on APPros site. My timer looked the same phsically, and the wiring harnesses were the same as video. But my knob did not come off like the one in the video. IO ended up breaking up the old timer with a pair of pliers. Looking at the video and the new timer i knew i was not damaging the knob. When I finally got it completely apart it was easy to see that I should have popped off the knob escutcheon, and then pull the plastic pin to disengage the knob from the switch. From that point the repair was 15 minutes and easy.
