My microwave would not heat but would turn on ok. Based on some research I hoped it would just be a microswitch. DANGER microwaves should only be worked on by people that understand the DANGERS. After removing 40 screws I was able to test the entire high voltage system and replaced the switch. Luckily it was just the switch and none of the other expensive parts were needed to be replaced.
