By removing and replacing the Switch Membrane. This was a fairly simple job that required the removal of the grill, then taking out the screw holding the switch plate in place and disconnecting the Switch Membrane connector. I then peeled the old Switch Membrane off of the front of the cover, removed the old glue and cleaned the face plate thoroughly before applying the new Switch Membrane and reassembling the parts.
