Initially, I thought the problem was likely the "Smartboard" which controls everything in the unit. When a replacement didn't fix the issue, I took the keyboard panel and found the keypad area is actually sealed except for the ribbon cable that exits the keyboard chamber. I blew air into that opening and re-assembled the unit. After plugging it back in, the unit started working again, but that only lasted about ten minutes when the error code and resulting beeping resumed. At that point I ordered the new keypad assembly (unfortunately it is a sealed unit not accessible for any repairs or cleaning). The new keypad assembly fixed the issue; unfortunately it is one of the more expensive parts.....
