Rick W Paso Robles , CA February 27, 2022 Motor very loud This was a big job as you are basically taking the mixer down to its bones. Thankfully, the you tube video was extremely helpful and the project went smoothly. Just make sure to have food-grade grease on hand before you start. I tore the entire mixer down and re-greased the planetary gears up front as well as replaced the motor assembly. This mixer was handed down to us by my mom, it is probably 25+ years old, but runs like new now. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours
