Saw a video on line. Looked fairly easy to replace, but there were quite a few steps. I followed the video step for step and had the motor out in less than an hour. Tested motor with an electrical tester, just to be sure that was the problem. I ordered the motor from Appliance Parts Pros on a Sunday evening. The motor was at my doorstep Tuesday morning. It took about a hour and half to get everything back together. My only suggestion would be to label all the screws as to where they go as you disassemble the dryer, makes reassembly much easier. Most people would probably just go buy a new dryer as we live in a throw away society, but i saved tons of money (versus buying a new dryer) and have the satisfaction of fixing the dryer myself.
