I replaced the drum /blower motor for my Samsung dryer, but here are a few tips to help you if you're doing the same. The replacement motor sent, had slightly different dimensions from the original part. The belt drive wheel sits about 5 mm closer to the motor than on the original (the shaft is shorter) therefore the drum belt rides very close (mm) to some of the motor hardware...It's very close, so just be cautious. On the other end, of the motor, the shaft that connects to the blower fan was out of spec (just a mm too big in diameter) as a result the blower fan did not seat properly on the shaft and the blower extended out and rubbed against the blower duct cover. I grinded away just a bit of material from the diameter of the shaft and the blower fan was then seated correctly in the duct. Once put together its all working fine.
