I went to YouTube and found a video showing how simple it was to replace the control board so I ordered a replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com. It was easy to find the part because I had the model # of my range and the exploded parts diagrams make it simple to identify the required part.
I removed the back panel and the control unit was held by two self-tapping screws. There were six (I recall) connectors that had to be unplugged. Remove and replace; it was as simple as that. The hardest task was moving the range out far enough so I could access the back panel. It took less than 30 minutes.
