I'm not an appliance mechanic and have never worked on a dryer before, but I have worked as an instrument technician and lightly dabbled in HVAC repairs. We moved from natural gas to a new home with propane, so purchased this kit to make the conversion. In my mind I thought it would be fairly quick and easy, change a few fittings, etc, but realized upon reading the instructions that I needed to disassemble most of the dryer.
The work was straightforward but since this was my first time taking apart the dryer I went slow and methodical. I was also nervous about leaks so made sure to take my time.
Took about 2-2.5 hours but everything went back together smooth and we have been using the dryer for about a month on propane with no problems.
