Johnny S Las Vegas , NV December 03, 2016 I needed to replace my water filter it still worked but was seven years old I did not turn off my water. I put a small towel below the filter and turned the old filter by hand until it came off. I filled the new filter with tap water then lined up the arrow on the new filter with the arrow on the holder. I turned it by hand the opposite direction until it locked in place. I ran about three glasses of water from the refrigerator to get the air out of the line. It took less than five minutes. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
