I ordered new bearings for the GE Dryer. The dryer was less than 3 years old. I was able to put the new rear bearing in the machine and it is now quieter than it was originally. The only really difficult issue was that in installing the new bearing it would have been easier if I had someone to hold it in place while I was screwing in the support screws as it is difficult to align the screws and reach through the drum to screw them into the bearing housing. It is also a little tricky to put the sheet metal screws back in place which again with another set of hands would have been a lot easier.
