I chatted with Elizabeth and she stated I needed to replace the clock/electronic control. I watched the video and ordered the clock/electronic control, but I did not review the “Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You” on which one person states “Installed replacement, old face plate clued, new part did not have new face plate”. The new clock arrived and I took the back guard apart. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Yes, your part picture shows a black part but implies you will be able to use the overlay from your old clock. However, when I tried to gently remove the overlay from the bad clock, the white paint cracked, stayed on the old clock, and made the new clock look terrible. The video shows the clock comes with a white overlay. Please do two things: 1. Insert a scene in the video which Matt states something like “If your new clock part does not come with an overlay, please make sure you order a new overlay because the old one probably will not be able to be used.” and 2. Add a note somewhere that the new clock does not come with a new overlay. I rated this repair experience a 4 because it just didn't jump out at me to order an overlay at the same time I ordered the clock. 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
