This oven was a Kenmore model #66595822003. I replaced both spring hinges. This oven was a white oven so it took the MFG# WP8053807 hinge (order two of them). They are the same hinge. No left or right. To get the door off the oven, open the door all the way open, I installed pins (preferably only 1/4" long) in the holes of both hinges. Then remove the spring steel retainers above old hinges in the oven frame. These holds hinges in place. Now close the door until hinge stops on pins. Lift up evenly (wiggle side to side) until both hinges come up and off mounting rods on oven frame. Take and lay oven door on soft carpet. May want to put down protective sheet in case door is greasy. Note (take pictures of door with phone as to how door looks before disassembling). Remove two door handle screws, lift off handle. Lay door on carpet with outside of door facing up. Remove the 3 screws from bottom of door to free up door front glass and trim pieces on both side edges. Remove plastic side trim pieces. Carefully remove the large glass front. Now the hinges are exposed. Remove the two screws on each hinge at bottom of door. If the pins you used are about a 1/4" long. You will be able to now remove the old hinges by allowing hinge to pop up then slide toward bottom of door to free tab at door top from slot. Now lift side of door up and slide hinge down through opening in door. If your pins were longer than will pass through opening in door, you will have to use plyers and pull hinge down and remove pin then carefully release hinge. Now remove hinges and install new ones. Reverse procedure to assemble door. Once door is assembled take to oven and slide bother hinges into mounting slots onto mounting rods. Re-install spring retainer clips above each hinge. Open oven door and remove both pins from hinges. Close door and check fit. Happy baking!
