How to replace Knob Control (Wh). Replaced the control panel. I couldn't figure out if the problem was the igniters, the temp sensor, or the control board. Once I realized the broiler was not working, and the temp sensor seemed to test okay on the multimeter, I decided to start by replacing the control board. Most of the videos recommended taking a panel off the rear of the range to access the control panel, but two of the six screws holding it on were difficult to access. It worked better to remove torx screws off the sides of the range top and access the control panel from the front. The other tricky part was that the old wire terminals were not labeled and located the same on the new oven control board. Old terminals were in line and labeled "L1", "NEU", "BROIL", and "BAKE" the replacement board terminals were labeled "LINE", "AC N", "BROIL", and "BAKE". Once the oven front panel was off, the control panel swapped out pretty easily. Spent more time cleaning the stove since we had it out from the wall! Remember to unplug the stove, swap out the control overlay, and that you may need a new know to fit on the replacement control. 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
