We pulled the oven out installed the new light assembly and put it on. Although the faceplate didn't cover the entire panel because the original was no longer available, it covered the necessary parts and looks WAY BETTER!
The interesting thing about the light assembly is that we had a repair technician come to the house and they said it would be too costly to fix and they probably would not be successful, so we didn't move forward. We decided to take the risk of spending the part money to see if he could get it fixed and researched the part on your website. It worked out fine and wasn't too overly hard to fix. We did have to pull it out of the wall to get to the old part. It works perfectly now and for only the cost of the part. thank you!!!!!
