I replaced the thermal fuse by using the following steps: 1) Disconnecting power to range/oven. 2) Removing rear panel to expose wiring. 3) Removing nuts holding thermal fuse to electric box on oven. 4) Cutting thermal fuse from existing wiring; stripping back existing wiring to expose wires. 5) Re-using electrical connector on new thermal fuse; securing new thermal fuse to electric box on oven. 6) Crimping new thermal fuse to existing wiring. 7) Replacing all other electrical connections 8) Restoring power; testing operation of oven for 15 minutes. 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
