Removed the control faceplate with a flexible putty knife careful not to break the tabs. My daughter held the control panel so I didn't remove all the wires just the ones to the switch. Removed the switch by pressing in on the tab on the right side. Ran the new wires and installed the new switch and spring and pressed the control panel back into place. Took a total of about ten minutes.
