I'm 82 and had never attempted a comparable repair. She even clarified how shipping would work over Thanksgiving. Kept the help video up on my computer and played it several times to understand the process. Look carefully though: the springs to reattach the console to the body look OK if you start backwards!
One complaint: new screws to install new Lid Switch were NOT included. Glad I save the old ones and that size is not easy for me to find.
