I scraped off rust that would come, then used naval jelly to dissolve the rest of the rust. After cleaning and drying the area, I applied the Golden Harvest touch up pain. The paint went on well and covered up the black (that was under the rust). 2 coats. Only problem was that the pain color was not a good match for my sink (which was a gold color, but lighter than the paint I bought.) But after caulking the sink corner, it looks pretty good even though the darker paint does show next to the caulk. It's as good as I could get it without having spent more money to buy a lighter paint, (which some day I may do).
