Installed the range surface element, using the videos on this site. Works perfectly! Instructions were very clear and this was very straightforward repair for my Maytag range. The hardest part was getting the glass surface on and off properly. The connector was slightly different than the one I removed, but it was easy to figure out. Also, make sure not to get anything else on the other elements when they are exposed. To remove the mounting brackets from the back of the old element, I just squeezed the tabs together and it came right out. That wasn't obvious to me watching the video that that was what needed to be done.
