The old damper cover assembly was a non-motorized mylar plastic damper flap. It would not close with the new control board and new evaporator fan motor.
Installed new damper cover assembly with a motorized damper. So the damper closes at preset fridge temperature.
Now the fridge works like it is BRAND NEW!!
