I purchased the replacement spring from AppliancePartsPros.com. I got a great price on the part and next day delivery. The spring is a genuine GE part. I removed the refrigerator kick plate, removed the broken spring and installed the replacement spring. The entire repair process took approximately 15 minutes and the door is working perfectly at this point.
